Pastor/Staff Conference
Bob, Tim, and Adam had a great time at the Pastor/ Staff conference even though Bob’s car broke down on the way there. God worked it all out for the good and opened up a chance to share faith in Christ with the mechanic.
Summer Events
Developments on our two big events for the summer: a booth at the county fair and a float in the Nordic Fest parade. We ordered some donations to give away as prizes, but we could use a lot more. Anything extra will be used during the Nordic Fest. The fair is only 3 weeks away! A team from Des Moines will be here to help with the fair and do service projects on the weekend of July 15 – 17.
We’re still in the acquisition phase for building a float for Nordic Fest. We may
need a flatbed (no confirmation from the Snitkers on using theirs yet), a shelter to build the float under, and materials for the float.

Rex and Nina do the HSLT thing!
Rex, Nina, and Kristen will be leaving this Monday with a boat-load of teens from Ames for HSLT (High School Leadership Training). They will be traveling to Salt Lake City, UT for intensive teaching, training and outreach. Please be in prayer for their safety, and for soft, pliable hearts that God can mold into His beautiful image.
Pray also for Tim as he manages the other 4 kids and runs the game store in addition to his church responsibilities. It will be a seriously full plate and any volunteers to help with the load would be much appreciated.
